Christan Quattlebaum
BA, CPT, CES, 500 RYT
From ballet and tap classes as a five year old, to surfing the amateur waves of Tybee Island, to playing soccer, softball, and volleyball throughout high school, Christan has always found joy in movement. She attended Georgia Southern University, earning a B.A. in Writing and Linguistics, and it was there that she discovered her love of fitness. She obtained her Cycling Instructor certification with AAAI/ISMA (American Aerobic Association International and International Sports Medicine Association) in order to share the dynamic, infectious energy she experienced with others.
While she knew cycling was a beneficial workout for many reasons, her body felt tired, tight, and out of balance after teaching numerous classes a week. This led her to yoga and the practice of mindfully linking breath to movement, which transformed her from the inside out. The peaceful power, confidence, and the improved physical health she gained from yoga spurred her to complete both a 200 Hour Registered Yoga Teacher Training and a 100 hour Baptiste Power Yoga Teacher Training. With this education, Christan implemented and grew yoga programs that included Power, Vinyasa, Yin, and Restorative classes at gyms and studios throughout Georgia.
Christan’s way of life and work with clients are built on the premise that the balance of mind, body, and soul is the key to optimal health. Certified through NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine), ACE (American Council on Exercise), and Yoga Alliance, Christan helps clients link the power of their mind to the strength of their body in order to achieve their desired results. She blends her love of traditional bodybuilding workouts with evidence based functional movements, corrective exercises, and yogic principles to provide clients with a challenging yet balanced workout.
