Brian Bagwell

Hailing from Suffern, New York, Brian is a true fitness aficionado who embarked on his athletic journey as a gymnast at the tender age of 5. His passion for physical fitness led him to explore a wide range of sports such as soccer, wrestling, baseball, racquetball, rock climbing, track and field, golf, and tennis, among others. In addition to traditional sports, Brian has also delved into unconventional activities like skateboarding, snowboarding, surfing, and bodybuilding. At just17, he secured a professional sponsorship as a skateboarder, crisscrossing the country to film with the renowned Frontside Skateboarding team.
Brian’s thirst for knowledge and growth led him to Kennesaw State University, where he earned dual Bachelor’s degrees in Biology and Exercise Health Science. During his time, he honed his skills as a personal trainer, working at the Concourse and serving as the head trainer for the KSU athletic department. Here, he encountered a diverse array of conditions, from diabetes to polio, and assisted students recovering from a range of ailments, including coma-induced motor skill relearning, obesity, chemotherapy, and various orthopedic issues.
Post-graduation, Brian began catering to clients with unique exercise contraindications such as osteoporosis, spinal deformities, extreme obesity, and psychological barriers. His expertise lies in biomechanics and corrective movement patterns, crafting tailored exercise regimens for individuals seeking health improvements, mobility enhancement, and sport-specific performance gains.
Brian has earned multiple certifications from the top organizations NASM, ACE, and ACSM,with a focus on specialized areas such as shoulder stability, sports nutrition, pelvic floor, female physiology, and functional aging. Embracing evidence-based practices, Brian emphasizes the importance of movement as medicine and the significance of proper functional movement
patterns for overall well-being. He prioritizes the safety and efficacy of exercise protocols, advocates for balanced activity levels, and tailors programs to each participant’s goals and limitations.
With a wealth of experience in explosive force training, joint stability, and competitive performance enhancement, Brian remains actively engaged in sports like soccer, rock climbing, and wakeboarding. Beyond his athletic pursuits, he is a multifaceted individual with a passion for animals, music, poetry, cooking, gardening, and artistry, residing on a vibrant homestead with his beloved pets.
