Jack Heinz
Director of Small Group Training
Jack’s passion for exercise and overall physical fitness began at an early age. By 10 years old, he was immersed in almost every sport available to him. Between football, basketball, baseball, cross country, and simply being a kid, exercise was an important part of his life. However, it wasn’t until halfway through college, that he realized he wanted to spend his life helping others the way that many of his coaches had helped him throughout his childhood. His coaches gave him so much motivation, discipline, and guidance, and he wanted to be able to give that back to others.
Jack is a Certified Exercise Physiologist through the American College of Sports and Medicine and a graduate from Georgia State University’s Exercise Science program. He strives to help people take control of their physical health and fitness by providing them with comprehensive exercise programs that are not only effective but also enjoyable. His philosophy is, “Training is much like sports. If someone doesn’t enjoy what they do, they are much less likely to continue with that activity.”
Jack approaches fitness like a recipe; it encompasses several different aspects that must be properly balanced to achieve one’s goals. Physical fitness is a combination of muscular strength, muscular endurance, cardio-respiratory endurance, flexibility, and body fat composition. When all of these facets of fitness are working together in harmony, it results in success.
Jack’s strengths as a Trainer lie in his ability to transform people’s mindsets from thinking a fitness lifestyle is impossible to knowing a fitness lifestyle is their reality.
Jack does this by establishing the mentality that exercise is for “game of life” performance rather than simply sports performance. Jack loves aiding others as they accomplish their health and fitness goals. When his clients achieve an improved level of fitness and adapt a healthy lifestyle, it is a true measure of his skill set.
